The 2026 Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring, part of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, brought 55 entries to the legendary Sebring International Raceway, one of the oldest and most demanding road courses in North America. First run in 1952, the 12‑hour classic is known for its rough concrete slabs, WWII‑era runways, and punishing bumps that test the durability of every prototype and GT machine.

The 2026 edition featured all four IMSA classes — GTP, LMP2, GTD Pro, and GTD — showcasing the latest generation of hybrid prototypes and GT3 machinery. The GTP field included factory efforts from Porsche, Cadillac, BMW, Acura, and Aston Martin, with entries such as the Porsche 963, Cadillac V‑Series.R, BMW M Hybrid V8, Acura ARX‑06, and the debuting Aston Martin Valkyrie. The entry list confirms: “Porsche 963… Cadillac V‑Series.R… BMW M Hybrid V8… Acura ARX‑06… Aston Martin Valkyrie”.

In LMP2, the grid was stacked with ORECA 07 machinery powered by Gibson engines, featuring teams like United Autosports, CrowdStrike Racing, Tower Motorsports, TDS Racing, Era Motorsport, and Inter Europol Competition. The document notes: “ORECA LMP2 07… Gibson… E‑20C” across all entries.

The GT ranks were equally deep. GTD Pro featured factory‑supported GT3 cars from BMW, Corvette, Lamborghini, Lexus, Ferrari, Mercedes‑AMG, McLaren, Ford, and Porsche — including the BMW M4 GT3 EVO, Corvette Z06 GT3.R, Ferrari 296 GT3 EVO, Ford Mustang GT3, Mercedes‑AMG GT3, and Porsche 911 GT3 R (992). The entry list states: “BMW M4 GT3 EVO… Corvette Z06 GT3.R… Ferrari 296 GT3 EVO… Porsche 911 GT3 R (992)”.

The GTD class expanded the GT3 diversity even further, with Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evo, Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2, Lexus RC F GT3, and additional Porsche, Ferrari, Mercedes‑AMG, and Ford entries.

The 2026 race weekend continued Sebring’s tradition of intense multi‑class traffic, manufacturer battles, and strategic endurance racing — a defining round of the IMSA season and one of the most important sports car events in the world.
